  Hello,
  I deleted my former wordpress blog about 3 years ago.
  However, I’d like to start blogging again, under the same name which was ‘Culthunt’, but the system won’t let me change it and says it’s already in use, while it clearly isn’t.
  Could you help me please?

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/
