  I inadvertently changed my username from anneocraig to bpoilspill2010 because I wanted to build a personal blog site under anneocraig. Now, I’m told username anneocraig already exists. It’s mine, but I can’t access it. What do I do?

  Have you read this section http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/ of support documentation carefully?

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for anyone else to use.

  I’m sorry but there’s no way around this.
