Username

  I created a new account, nursenelle, and I already had a blog whosthatnurse.com. I wanted to change my username to nursenelle for my existing account but didn’t realize once I changed my name I couldn’t use it. How can I fix this?

  You cannot register any username that has been previously registered as username accounts are never deleted here to prevent impersonation https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/
