  I would like to change my username from admin to my name how do I get that done?

  Hi there,

  You can change your username in Account Settings.

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

  The instructions @kruttikaphalke provided can be used to change the username for an account on WordPress.com.

  A username of admin suggests you may be using WordPress.org software with another host. What is the address of the site you are looking to change the username for? If you let me know, I can double check on that for you.
