  I would like to change my username to remove my last name from it.

  Hello hello!

  You might be interested in the following document:

  To summarize,
  1. Go to the Account Settings at page https://wordpress.com/me/account
  2. Locate “Username“, and then replace what you see there
  3. Confirm your new username

  Do please take note of the following:
  – Your username is what you use to log in to WordPress.com
  – Your public display name is the name seen on your posts and comments, and can be changed at https://wordpress.com/me
  – Changing to a new username discards the current username. Discarded usernames are permanently disabled and cannot be used again.
