Username

  For some unknown reason that I cannot remember now I changed my username and would like my original username back. When I try to select it now it returns a message saying the username is in use. However, when I complete the recovery form it says the account for that username has been deleted. Kindly help!

  All wordpress.COm support docs are at https://support.wordpress.com/
  Type channge username into the search box there and click.

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

  Many thanks!! I got that but was still hoping there was a way to get my original name back.
