Username and Address not Working

  I created a username (callmejessyesplease), added an email address, and was told that my username already existed. I then created a new username (callmejessyespleasegeez) with my same email address and was told that my email address already exists. I have since tried logging in with both and usernames and emails, and have had no success. Please enlighten me as to what Is wrong, as well as how to make this blogging site work in my favor, because my luck it clearly not winning over. Thank you – J.
