username and blog address inconsistent

  I’m very confused about my username/blog address situation. I think that i initially created my account under the username “theoldfashioneddrink” but the blog address was “theoldfashionedblog.wordpress.com” so I tried changing things in my account so that it would be consistent and now it’s telling me that the username isn’t available and things like that. Can you please help me to make my username “theoldfashioneddrink” and the blog address to be “theoldfashioneddrink.wordpress.com” ? I am trying to keep it all consistent and I am worried that I messed something up. Thank you so much for your help! [Email removed.]

  I don’t see anything blocking, try setting up the original name again to see if it goes through. If it doesn’t record the exact error message you see since that may help give some clues if something else is going on.
