Username and Password to edit a website

  My web programmer created our website in WordPress, but he has disappeared off the face of the earth. He had the admin username and password and I can’t find it anywhere. I guessed and guessed and finally found a combo that got me into an old blog site we created prior to the creation of our website, but I can’t see any way to access and edit the website, just the old blog.
  My questions are: 1) I’m logged in to the blog, am I just not seeing how to access the website? 2) Is there a different process/link to log in to a WordPress created website to edit the content than the process to log in to a blog? If so, what’s the process/link to do this?

  Logging in as a Admin, Editor etc. give you the ability to change a blog

  However you might be in the wrong forum, we need the URL’s of all the sites you need help with to give you accurate advice.
