username change

  i tried following the steps provided but the it is not happening, i cannot enter a new username in the field they are directing us too
  I want to use this username for another blog which is to be created

  Hi @aroraditi,
  Once a username is created it cannot be used on some other account. If you change the username and try to revert back to your old username it won’t work either. The old username is reserved and cannot be used by anyone else(not even you). This is done to prevent you from being impersonated by someone else.
