Username change question. 2 Accounts.

  Hello,

  I made a account with a name I wanted but later I found out I got a old wordpress account. So I log into my new account and change it to a random username so I could free up that name and wanted to use my new name on my old account but it doesnt allow me to change it. It says its in use even tho I just change it aka free it.

  How long does it take for the name to be free so I could change it to the name I wanted? Thank you.

  The thing is it keeps saying “Sorry, that username already exists!” but I know the username is free because I change it on my new account to a random name and wanted to move that name onto my old account. This should of been instant and don’t know why its not letting me, doesn’t make sense.

  I know the name is free because I’m the one who had it original and literary just remove the name on the new account.
