username display issues

  I have quite a few blogs on wordpress and ran into this issue on one I share with a friend. I changed themes, and then my username, it was originally the same as the blog title. Under “Contributors” on the right hand side my username is displayed as changed, but as far as other icons and posts go it’s under the old user name, and I’d like that to be under the new one. I’ve gone through settings, profiles, and everywhere else the tutorials tell me to go to and this still hasn’t changed. Can someone please help me? Here is the blog address:

  I’m not aware of what you selected. Volunteers cannot even see those forms and what’s selected on them. What I am aware of is that none of us can help until your post the URL to the blog in question so we can determine if it is indeed a free hosted wordpress.COM blog.

  You see up to 30% of those who post here are actually posting to the wrong support forum. They fail to read the sticky post at the head of this forum and they have wordpress.ORG installs that run on different software and post here where we cannot help them.

  I apologize. I did use the URL you posted and confirmed your blog is free hosted by wordpress.com. I’m so sorry I posted the wrong thing immediately above and caused this confusion.

  If you have followed the instructions here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/#change-display-name-nickname without success then please go to Staff and help them sort this for you.
