username email

  I am setting up a blog for my team to admin together at work. We set up an email account that is a distribution list email (the email is accessed by everyone on the team). I have tried to change the blog’s username email from my own employee email to this team distribution list email. However, I have not received an email from wordpress allowing me to authorize this change. I don’t have any emails from wordpress in my spam or quarantine. it seems the email from wordpress to authorize the change in email username was never sent. However the change on my account shows it’s pending.
  Can I use an email that is a distribution list email for my username?

  You will have to be able to receive email at the address you wish to use, and reply from that email address to confirm.

  However, your plan presents some serious security concerns. It would be far better to add everyone who wishes to have access to the blog as a separate admin user, so each person has their own username and password.
