    I opened a second account without realizing it. Now the username I want is associate with one account and I would like to have it with the other email… it says when I change my username i wont be able to get it back. Does that mean forever?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there,

    Yes, deleting the account is permanent, as it is purged forever after 30 days. I see that this account has been deleted. Were you able to move the correct email over to your preferred account? If you delete an account with an email connected, it won’t be possible to register with a different account for at least 30 days. Instead, you would need to replace your preferred email with an alternate/spam email on the account you no longer want, freeing up your preferred email.
