username not available

  I would like to create a new account with a username (metalmindaccessories) that is the same as one of my non-primary blogs under this account. Ultimately, I will move metalmindaccessories.wordpress.com to this new username (metalmindaccessories) but when I attempt to register with a different email address, it says that “metalmindaccessories” is unavailable, but not that it is taken by someone else.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Blog names are the same as usernames for the most part. Usernames can be turned into blog names, but blog names cannot be turned into usernames.

  You can change your display name right on your Profile page, though.
