Username not found?

    I need to update my Jetpack plugin, and when I click to do so, it has me enter in my username and password. But it keeps telling me my username is not found…? I have no idea how to fix this. Isn’t my username ‘shaunamailloux’?

    Hello @shaunamailloux,
    I suppose you are confusing WordPress.ORG with WordPress.COM.

    Your site is using WordPress.ORG and is hosted outside WordPress.COM. This is WordPress.COM. And this forum only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.com.

    Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products which are hosted on completely different servers and use completely different credentials to login(Unless you are using the same credentials for both of them).

    So please login with the correct WordPress.ORG credentials. If you do not remember the credentials then please, post your question on the WordPress.ORG support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/
