Username not found
-
When I try to login, I’m getting an error that my username/email is not found. I’ve tried logging in with both. When I go to wordpress.com, it seems I’m automatically logged in, but when I try to customize things, it asks me to log in or gives a this message: This site is not secure. This might mean that someone’s trying to fool you or steal any info you send to the server. You should close this site immediately.
I have verified my email (and done it again to be sure).

Staff can read redacted email addresses and this forum is set up so any email address entered by use users in its proper form will be redacted (hidden).
What is the URL of the site?
Exactly which username account registered it under the email address that was provided? You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is: https://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
You can update your email address here https://wordpress.com/me
If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Can you clarify which site you’re trying to log into?

verperryblog.com
My user name is dhsnperry and my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I am confident these are correct, but they are not being recognized. I receive emails from Bluehost and WordPress via this address and I am automatically logged in making this inquiry. But when I attempt to log in or make changes, it says my user name and email are not found.

Hi @dhsnperry, I looked at your account here, and I’m seeing your site connected via Jetpack with the temporary url that Bluehost assigned until you make it live to the public. That temporary url is not an https:// url, but instead http:// so your browser may come up and warn you about that. Chrome can be a bit more finicky on that.
Since Jetpack is installed and connected on your site, you have two ways to log in. One, as you have discovered, is through WordPress.com. That is possible because our Jetpack plugin is installed.
the second way would be to go directly to your site and to the login page, and login there. Right now with your site being on the temporary url, that would be through here: http://box2074.temp.domains/~veryperr/ . The log in username/email and password to log in with this method would be different from your WordPress.com username/password and email. When the site was set up, that information should have been shown to you at the end of the process, or you should have gotten that information in an email.
Once your site goes live and is under the domain name, your login URL will be: https://verperryblog.com/wp-login.php. This login link will not work until after you take the site live. The username/email and password will be the same ones that work on your temporary domain login.
