Username/Password information not working.

    Hi! I am a new content marketer for Guide Me Away and I was given a username and password by the owner and it isn’t working. She has changed the password several times and I have tried using my given username and email. I also have my own wordpress site, that I thought my be an issue. Can the site only be reached by 1 username and password? Please let me know your thoughts.

    Hi pmwalsh94,

    The site can be accessed by another username and password given that other users are added to the site.

    Here’s what you can do.
    1. Recheck the Username and email.
    2. Make sure you’ve logged out of your personal account before you log into the said blog.
    3. If the owner has access to the site, ask them to invite you as a contributor on the id you use to log onto your own site. This way you won’t have to use the owner’s id. Then you can access it in the ‘My Sites’ section on the upper left corner of any WordPress.com Webpage
    4. If both of you can’t access the site, you can use the Account Recovery options.
