Username v Blog Name (Privacy)

  Can people see your username via your blog? I.e. if I wanted to create a blog whereby I posted via a discrete name, would people still be able to see my username? Hope that makes sense.

  The alternative is to create a new wordpress accuont with a random username I guess.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When you’ve set another name for public display (Users > My Profile), then visitors will see that name on the blog, not your username. But: a) as you see, that doesn’t apply to this forum; b) those who know can find your username in the source code of your blog; c) the other name you’ve set will be common to all blogs you create under the same account. So you probably need a new account (= different e-mail address).
