username with multiple languages?

  Hi,

  I have a wordpress.com blog, that is private (I granted access to some users in the privacy section).
  I would like to give access to more people, who do not speak English fluently.
  I am wondering if their username will work if I ask them to create it on fr.wordpress.com e.g. can I grant access to a user that was created in the French version of wordpress.com.
  I believe usernames are global, so it should be ok, but would like a confirmation

  Usernames are global, but blogs have to be language-specific.
