Username with new domain name

    Hi,
    I have bought a domain ‘www.xyz.com’ which was previously ‘xyz.wordpress.com’. Now I want to create new usernames for authors who would contribute to the site. But I want their ids to be (email visible only to moderators and staff) and not wordpress.com. Could anyone help me with this.

    Sorry, I don’t understand. How does the domain relate to the usernames. Are you still hosting the blog on WordPress.com ?

    If your new domain is just “mapped” to your old blog URL and still hosted here, users still have to signup for a wordpress.com username as that is the user base that you draw from from authors. If you are not hosted here anymore, that would be different.
