Username @*** wrong

  Hi there. I recently returned to WordPress, after a 4 year vacation.

  I re-registered with a different email and username, yet I have noticed, as you will see by my forums avatar, it still displays my username as “ofsorcerers”.

  That was an old user id from before.

  I have checked everything in my account, site and gravatar settings… they are programmed my side to reflect as “yllwchlk” – … yet my username won’t alter.

  Please can someone change it to “yllwchlk” ? Thanks.

  You can change both your WordPress.com account username (the name you use to login) and your display name (the name that is seen on your posts and comments)., https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

  Hi there,

  I re-registered with a different email and username

  The ofsorcerers account you’re using to post here was created in 2015. I can see you updated the email address for this account around 20 hours ago, but there has been no username changes.

  The username, yllwchlk, does not exist on WordPress.com, so you should be able to change your account’s current username to that by following the process @staartmees linked to above.
