How do I change the ‘@everyonewinsent’?

    Hi there!

Please note that once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

You can refer to this guide for help.

    Change Your Username

  • Hi there,

You have changed your public display name, not your username.

The username is what you use to log into your WordPress.com account, and is used here in the forums. Everywhere else, e.g. the author byline when you write a post, or the name visible when you comment on a site, will be your public display name, and that’s already what you want.

If you do want to change your WordPress.com username as well, you can do that from your account settings:

    Change Your Username

Keep in mind, though, that this only affects your WordPress.com account. Your site at http://www.thatsjustjennifer.com/ is a stand-alone WordPress installation, and that site has its own admin user account that exists only in that site’s database.

The username on stand-alone WordPress sites is not designed to be changed, so while it is technically possible, there’s not a simple way to do this. If you want to change that username, though, you can find a tutorial on the best ways to do it here:
