  Hi,

  Sorry im new to the forum with WordPress.

  What im looking to do is when i log into my website/blog of http://www.phyinfo.com i want to straight away ask for a username and password to be able to enter the website/blog.

  I can add users so they can blog, but i dont want anyone able to see the site at all until they log in

  Not sure if there is an HTML script to help this?

  The Privacy Settings control what type of visitors can read your blog.Choose the second blog visibility option:
  2. I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose – You would use this setting to create a private blog. If selected, another area will appear (see the last screenshot) where you can control the WordPress.com usernames with access to the blog.

  Thanks for you information.

  So if i choose this option when somebody who does not have a username, will they be able to see the website http://www.phyinfo.com?

  http://www.phyinfo.com/ is not hosted here at WordPress.com, so it will not have that particular option. Please head over to the WordPress.org support forums at http://wordpress.org/support

  If you choose to make your blog private and visible only to only to users you choose then you must add them to the blog as users by invitation. They will need to register a wordpress.com account but do not need to register a blog. The process is found in this section: To add someone who does not have a WordPress.com account > http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/
