  How does users work?
  I want to add someone so they can post on the blog, would they be able to change everything?
  Would they be able to do any post they want and I wouldn’t have any control over them?
  Would they have their own dashboard?
  What is the difference between Author, Editor, Contributor and Administrator

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Don’t add other admins – then they can kill the blog if they get upset – that has happened many times – add other users no higher than Editor

  If I make them an author would I be able to delete their posts?

  If you’re the Admin, you can do anything including revoke their permissions and/or delete their posts. It’s all explained in that link.
