Users and Authors

  OK guys, some help required here.

  My blog is at http://www.sonstrust.net.

  I’ve just added five authors to the site, but none of them, who have registered properly, can see the blog in their dashboard when they log in. That being the case, how do they post to the blog/site?

  Perhaps you have not hit confirm? If not this is really an issue for wordpress to settle.

  sonsteam, which role did you assign to the new users? If they are contributors, they can write posts, but not publish. For an explanation of roles see: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/12/what-are-the-different-roles/

  Are they logging in to WordPress.com, or to an independent WP identity? I got those two mixed up when I started. They’re totally different.

  Have them sign in directly from http://sonstrust.net/wp-admin and see if that helps.
