Users are not showing up in the user list?

As administrator, I have invited two people to be an author. They have accepted the invitation and signed up for a wordpress account. They are not showing up in the users list. I resent an invitation and when they select activate, they get the following message “Whoops, you can’t use an activation key you’ve created for someone else.”
I have tried this in both Firefox newest version installed today, and IE9. Please advise. http://valleyconnection.wordpress.com

It looks like one has accepted. Would you please try re-sending the invite to the two that failed?

The one that was accepted happened yesterday. Today’s invites 2/24 are not responding correctly.
I resent to them and they both didn’t work. One is on yahoo and one on hotmail. Both got the whoops message listed previously.
Does it matter that they all would come from the same ip address? For example, I have signed up both myself and an trying to sign up my husband from the same computer.

That’s possible, but I suspect that something else may be at play, perhaps a cookie or cache conflict preventing the links from working.
Would you please ask them to clear their browser’s cookies and cache, then attempt to accept the invite again?
