Users are unable to comment on posts

When attempting to post comments with a known email address, they receive the error “That email address is associated with an existing WordPress.com account, please log in to use it”. They claim this statement is false.

You might ask them to try retrieving their WordPress.com credentials by entering their email addresses here:

Yes — to help prevent impersonation, if a user comments with an email address that’s tied to a WordPress.com (or Gravatar) account, they’ll need to log in before they can comment with that address.
