Users can’t access blog
-
I brought this up a few days ago but the problem went away. Since then it’s happened a few times and it’s currently happening now.
I can only access my blog via the /admin URL. But as soon as I logout out it redirects to the “IE cannot access the website” message. It might mean no one can access my blog during this ‘drop out’ periods. Is there a problem here that can be fixed?

http://alpineopinion.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ should get you to your blog admin as you already know. It might have been a backend issue if it was only a little bit, but something else if constant. Is is currently working?

This blog? http://alpineopinion.wordpress.com/
I see it fine in Firefox and IE 6. The problem is probably either with your own computer or with your internet connection. Have you had complaints from other people? Have you tried accessing the blog from a different computer on a different connection?

The problem is still there. I’ve used the diagnose connection problem button and there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I haven’t yet had “complaints” from other people but the stats have gone static and comments on threads that were in progress have suddenly stopped. I’m on IE7.

Have you enabled cookies? When in doubt, do the “cookie dance:” delete your cookies and your browser cache and do a forced reload.
By “a problem with your internet connection” I mean you could be on a connection that generally blocks WordPress.com. Some work computers are, and most of the ones in Turkey, just for an example. Can you go to other WP.com blogs?
