Users – Editors

  Hi, my question is, in order to call someone as a WordPress.com User does he/she has to create a blog?

  i mean, i asked someone to help me as an editor in one of my blogs, she was not a WP.com user so i told her she must register in order to help me, when she told me she registered, i add her to my blog as an Editor, but the answer i get was that she was not a WP.con user, so i wonder if she has to create a blog so i can add her to mine..

  No, someone can just sign up and get a username without starting their own blog. When you sign up, there’s a button where you select whether or not you want a blog at that time.

  What is her username? We should be able to look her up somewhere.

  i do not know her username, she gave me the mail she used to registered, and as far as i now, that’s the only thing we need to add someone as an editor, the user’s mail, right?

  Yes, that’s all you should need. But it does have to be exactly identical to the one she used to register. If it is, then I’m out of ideas except maybe you should contact staff via your Dashboard and see if they can figure out what’s going on.
