Users not appearing in user list

  Hi, I have recently added multiple users to my multi-site using the AMU plugin. These can login on the main site, but can’t on a second site – I added them using the network add option – when they try they get: 500 – Internal server error.
  There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
  When I go into the user list on this second site it shows that there are 75 users, but only 6 appear in the list. In their individual profiles it shows they members of both sites.
  Help please!
