Users of Private blog who are not registered on WordPress

I am a bit confused concerning users of my blog – I would like my blog to be only accessible to users I invite BUT ALSO I would like to avoid having my user to be registered on WordPress. Is this possible ? Any alternative with a paid plan ?

In order for your users to have access to your Private site on WordPress.com, WordPress.com requires them to have an account here. If they don’t already have an account, they will be required to create an account when accepting your invitation.
At present, there is no other option and this is not tied to any “paid plan”, by which I understand you mean upgrade.
