Users unable to post comments in Digg 3 Column & side bar links don't work

Readers are not able to post comments on my Digg 3 column blog. Unable to post comments and unable to click on links in side bar. They can access everything via the mobile theme but from a desktop they get nothing. I tried this myself and experienced the same result. Also tried to comment on another blog with the same theme Digg 3 Column and could not post comments or click on links in sidebar. This started on 4/26/15.

The issue you’re experiencing is happening because Digg 3 Column is a retired theme. When themes are retired, the developers cease to support them as the WordPress.com platform continues to grow and change.
You can absolutely continue to use DIgg 3 Column on your site WordPress.com site. However, you will experience the same trouble, and you might find the theme becomes more antiquated in the future.
My suggestion is to find another theme (we do have some that are similar) to replace Digg 3 Column for bookchatter.net.

The issue I reported is not an issue anymore, but I wasn’t aware that the theme had been retired. I will consider the other options you noted. Thanks for including them.
