Users without access to blog stats and dashboard.

  I will have multiple contributors for my site. I want them to be known as the author but do not want to give them access to the dashboard. Is there a way to get around this?

  You could have them email you the posts and attach the images. Then you’d have to put the content in the post box. All official User statuses at WP.com give access to the dashboard, although the amount of stuff they can access there varies.
