Using a deleted website name on wordpress.com

  I would like to use this blog address:

  projectorca.wordpress.com

  but it says it is not available, even though there is no current website blog/address using it! There is currently no website with this address.

  Has it been used before? This is a free website, so surely it can be recycled if the previous owner deleted it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  projectorca.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Hi there, when the person who registered that site deleted it, it removed the site URL from use. Please see this about recycling blog addresses: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  The short answer is that you might be able to register that address if it becomes available 2 years after deletion. The only way to know if it is available it to try to register it again.
