Using a Europena Host for Uk site

    Is there any problem with using host with only eu server (Greengeeks or A2) for sites in Uk?

    Hi there!
    This is WordPress.com hosting support. You don’t need to get another host when you use WordPress.com. I think you may be thinking of the software WordPress.org?

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support or questions about the WordPress.org software that you can install on a host. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!

    I just wanted to add that neither us nor the WordPress.org community will be able to advise you on the legal issues with using a hosting provider in a different country than where your site is. I suggest you contact the hosting provider you’re considering directly in that regard, or perhaps even a lawyer specialising in internet law.
