Using a premium theme

    If I have a domain with hostgator, how do I use a premium theme?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Is your site also hosted with Hostgator, so using the open source version of WordPress found on WordPress.org?

    In that case you have two options to use a WordPress.com Premium Theme:

    1) Install the Jetpack plugin on the site and connect it to your WordPress.com account, and upgrade to the Jetpack Professional Plan. Then you can activate any WordPress.com premium theme on the site, and switch between them whenever you want.

    2) Buy the self-hosted version of the theme here:

    https://creativemarket.com/automattic

    Note that these options are only for premium themes made by WordPress.com/Automattic.

    For premium themes listed at https://wordpress.com/themes/ that are made by third-party theme shops, please contact the specific theme shop directly to buy their self-hosted version of their theme.
