Using a theme

    I have a WordPress theme that I purchased and would like to use. I can’t find any way to upload the theme, or to even go in and create or alter CSS.. help!

    Hello there!

    WordPress.com doesn’t feature any kind of theme uploading, as all the themes available for use are the ones showcased on the Themes repository.

    You can upload and install themes on the self-hosted WordPress.ORG sites, which require you to purchase a hosting space and install the WordPress.ORG software.

    What’s the name of the theme you’ve purchased? Some of the themes showcased on the WordPress.com store are also available for purchase for both the WordPress platforms, therefore there might be a chance for you to be able to use this theme by re-buying it from the Themes store.

    In any case, if you don’t have the intention of moving to a self-hosted website, I’d suggest you to ask a refund for the theme you’ve bought, as you can’t use it in here.
