Using a Transferred Blog URL

  Hi,

  A few months ago, I asked a blogger sitting on a URL if he wouldn’t mind handing it over so that I could use it. In the absence of a response, I created the blog I wanted with a different URL. Now, this blogger has transferred the blog to me, but I would like to keep my other posts on the URL I settled for. How would I make the transferred URL the URL to my current blog? Does the question make sense?

  Hi @constar24,

  Can you clarify the two blog addresses you’re referring to? I’m thinking the best option here would be to export the contents of the blog you no longer want and import it into the blog you do want:

  Export Your Website’s Content

  Import a Website

  Once I know the two blog addresses, I’ll be able to tell you for sure though!

  Thanks for the help Jeremey, I actually figured it out yesterday by trying the import/export just like you said and it worked! But thanks for responding, I really appreciate it.
