Using a WordPress Blog as an artists gallery

  Hello,

  I’m trying to figure out how best to display a series of paintings with thumbnail, title, canvas size and cost. So far, this is the best I’ve come up with. Visually, it’s the right idea but I thought I’d see if anyone had any advice on making it better. I’m using the suburbia theme.

  I’m sure you’ll agree that the information could be presented in a clearer fashion!

  I’m no theme wrangler, but why don’t you take a look at other artists’ sites on the Art or Photography tag http://wordpress.com/tag/art

  If you want more room for the Caption, try using the Gallery shortcode using fewer columns and medium size thumbnails. You’ll have to modify the Gallery shortcode in the HTML editor and it would look something like
  [gallery columns="2" size="medium"]
