Using accent codes

  I don’t seem to be able to use accent codes when I type into Quick Draft. For example, if I want to type ‘fiance’ with an “acute” accent mark over the letter ‘e’ I am unable to do so. Please tell if there is a way to apply accent codes, see http://symbolcodes.tlt.psu.edu/accents/codemac.html, into WordPress blog posts.

  Hi Bruce!

  This appears to be working correctly on my side as shown here:

  

  Are you entering the character by holding down on your keyboard key and then using the number selector or are you copying and pasting? Can you let me know if you experience the same performance across all browsers?

  I discovered that in ‘Text’ I was able to apply the accent code, which then was carried over into ‘Visual’. So, apparently that works.
