Using an old deleted username

  Hi, I’m trying to start up a new blog and wordpress is saying that the name i want is in use. When i search for the name acreativemuse.wordpress.com it comes up telling me that it has been deleted by user.
  Is there a way of being able to use this name? Or is it forever lost in the abyss of deleted accounts!?
