using another domain and my wordpress blog

my blog is http://www.brooklynbarbarosa.wordpress.com. i recently bought the dot com version of this, and have yet to figure out how to use my wordpress site on my new site. do i simply have my new domain bounce people to this site, or do i need to pay and become some premium wordpress memeber, or what?
