Using Appearance – Editor – It isn't there…
-
I am looking at tutorials for editing the HTML of my blog. This is my first wordpress blog and I am trying to make it look like a website and not a blog.
All the tutorials are saying to go to:
Appearance
Editor (etc.)
I do not have an Editor under my Appearance tab. :-(
Help!
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Stop reading those tutorials. You can’t edit the underlying HTML or php on a WordPress.com blog. That is why you don’t have an editor under Appearance.
Those instructions are for WordPress.ORG blogs, which use a different kind of WP software. Here, you can edit the CSS only, and only with the paid upgrade. You can practice, however, for free under the CSS preview.

Thank you so much! I had no idea there were two sites! Now I can figure out how to proceed.
Thanks again. -
