Using Audio Player
-
I’ve been struggling to figure out how to use the WP audio player, and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I mostly use hulkshare and mediafire to upload my music, but I can’t figure out how to get the music to work. For example here is the url to a song I uploaded:
[audio src="http://hulkshare.com/1fbhd0tro730/Everything.mp3" /]
If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

ya i already read them. I put that link in the audio shortcode as so:
[audio http://hulkshare.com/1fbhd0tro730/Everything.mp3%5D
and nothing happens. I just buffers.

That is because you see what you posted here? It needs:
1) the closing square bracket
2) for you to put your cursor on the MP3 URL and click the Unlink icon, so it’s not an active, clickable link any more. -
If you try the URL you used, you’ll see that it’s not an mp3, it’s a webpage. I think hulkshare doesn’t allow you to use direct URLs if you only have a free account. Use Fileden instead.

I’m using the audio player, and the MP3 link is fine, but when I wrap it in the [audio ...] tag, it says “file not found”
:/

It works in the link, but not in the audio player.

Right. The WP audio player doesn’t like blank spaces, punctuation marks and other symbols in the file name.
