Using big cartel store for fundraising

    Hi,

    I’m looking at options to set up a new blog/website for a local dog charity. I want to link my website to a big cartel shop so people can make donations for vitual products eg, buy a bag of dog food but they are really just making a donation to the value of the dog food so it can be purchased locally.

    Information I’ve found in these fourms and support pages is mixed. wordpress says you can use a blog for fundraising and even tells you how to put a fundraising button on your page. But the forums say you can’t use it for ecommerce.

    I don’t want to set up something to complex as the rescue organisation only has basic computer skills to maintain it after I’ve set it up.

    I think my website will be somewhere in between. WordPress says they can’t answer questions at the moment so can anyone else help?
