Using browser connect to externally hosted site – which I can see via iPad App

    I have my externally hosted website available via the installed WordPress App on my ipad but I can’t seem to connect to that site from the browser on my Mac. I have a friend helping build the site and she’s set it up so it’s available via my wordpress account and it took me seconds to figure out how to connect to it on my ipad but I can’t see how to do that via my browser on my Mac. I looked at support articles but they seem to take it from the stage of pointing your site to wordpress and I don’t want to change any settings as I know that’s areadly been done. Thanks in advance.
