Using certain kinds of codes on site (such as java)
-
Hi, I wonder if a code like this one could be “tweaked” so that it would work on my site? It may be a little outdated, but it used to work just fine on an old index page of mine… If I can’t use it, no matter. But I am curious about codes which will or will not function here… This seems to be javascript, from the looks of it.

Direct use of javascript, flash **, iframes and forms are not allowed here for security reasons.
** With flash, most times it can be used here by utilizing the gigya shortcode. Panos covers the gigya shortcode quite well here.

Since this is a multi-user platform we all share the same underlying theme and wordpress files and any bad code, or security issue introduced by a user could bring down a bunch of blogs.
