USING classicFTP

  I require a password for server ?????? I’ve got as far as downloading and installing classicFTP but it will not accept any passwords I have ??????? it says ‘ Anonymous Login failed. The server needs a password for, or does not allow, anonymous login. I have linked it to ns1.wordpress.com for the ftp site username anonymous because I gave up and hoped it would work ! and no password …………………. ??????????????????

  I’m sorry, we don’t allow FTP access on WordPress.com. There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.
