Using Custom Design Upgrade

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello

I bought this upgrade to make CSS customisation easier, but despite a button showing that it is active, I don’t see a CSS Editor in the dropdown menu under Appearance? I am currently working with Twenty Eleven but would prefer Chunk or Imbalance2.

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Did you try

Dashboard >> Settings >> Custom Design >> then click on the CSS Tab?

That’s what I tried, but under Settings I don’t see Custom Deaign anywhere.

Are you logged in as an Admin and the same account you purchased the upgrade with?

If you are an Admin you should at least see the Custom Design tab – if you are an Editor or below you will not see the tab under Settings – you will only see Polls if you are an Editor or below

How do you log in as admin?

Auxclass made a mistake above: it’s Dashboard sidebar >> Appearance >> Custom Design >> then click on the CSS Tab.

I thought it might be. However the problem is the same – I have clicked on CSS, but there is still no ‘Editor’ visible in the sidebar. That is what I need to access in order to use the upgrade.

Are you the original Admin of the blog in question? More to the point, are you logged-in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade for the blog in question?

Sorry about the mix-up – honest I did go look at the CSS editor – that is what happens when I try and help above my pay-grade :)

If you are Admin you should see the Appearance Tab which should have the Custom Design choice under it – that should be seen even if you have not bought the Custom Design Upgrade – and there should be a Tab that has “CSS” on it once you are at the Custom Design Tab. The CSS Editor is just a plain box like thing that opens up.
